The new MVP Series II range of loudspeakers combines high-output with superior sonic clarity, the product group brings professional-quality sound reinforcement to DJs, bands and other mobile applications demanding the best in audio. There are seven MVP Series II models in all: Four full-range 2-way cabinets, a pair of powerful floor monitors, and a potent subwoofer system.
The MVP12M stage monitor combines a 12-inch mid/bass with horn-loaded HF and is ideal when quality is required from a very compact system with minimal footprint. For higher sound levels and greater low-end punch the MVP15M uses a 15-inch mid/bass bass with horn-loaded HF. Both systems deliver clean, detailed performance and maximum gain before feedback, even at extremely high SPLs.
The MVP12 and MVP15, MVP15HO and MVP215HO are all full-range PA systems offering the user a choice to match their application. All four systems utilize Community’s proprietary HF20 high frequency compression driver featuring a ferrofluid cooled non-metallic diaphragm to insure smooth performance and extremely low distortion. In the MVP12 the HF20 is horn-loaded and combined with a 12-inch mid/bass to provide a system that is ultra-portable with compact dimensions and minimal weight. The MVP15 adds the extra punch and power of a 15-inch mid/bass or users can opt for the greater low-end extension and higher output of the MVP15HO, with a cast chassis 15-inch mid/bass unit and large format HF horn.
Top of the range is the MVP215HO which takes the large format HF horn of the MVP15HO and combines it with 2 x 15-inch cast chassis mid/bass units in a system that is capable of handling 1000W programme and providing a peak output of 131 dB. Completing the range is the MVP18S subwoofer system, which can be used with any of the full range systems to provide ground-shaking bass performance when the venue or music demands it. The MVP18S features an 18-inch driver with a 4-layer, parallel wound voice coil and a power handling capability of 750W programme. The MVP18S also provides for a pole mount facility for the MVP12, MVP15 and MVP15HO
Community's Dyna-Tech driver protection system provides all MVP Series II models with comprehensive multi-level protection, allowing the speakers to operate at their full dynamic range yet still reacting quickly to excessive musical transient peaks without the risk of damaging the speakers.
Built to withstand the stress of constant use, all MVP Series II enclosures are ruggedly constructed and covered with durable black carpeting. Rubber feet, recessed handles, 1/4-inch input connectors, two locking connectors, and a perforated 16-gauge steel grille further complement each package.
The MVP12, MVP15 and MVP15HO all come with an integral pole mounting socket allowing mounting on a tripod or the mating pole that comes with an MVP18S. Wall mounting of these products is also straightforward with the Community spigot wall brackets which are available with a fixed spigot (SWM-01) or tilting spigot (SWM-02).
